Streamer Shock v2.4.1 (LAUNCH)

I am excited to announce my newly recreated Streamer Bot PiShock Plugin “Streamer Shock”! This is a major overhaul to my original plugin, which introduces new optimisations, performance increases and hopefully better latency.

This new and updated plugin brings many positive changes and removes alot of nuiances I had with my original plugin.

I put alot of time and effort into this refactor, which involved completely re-writing my code from scratch, I spent alot of time making forms that look acceptable and convey enough information that it should be streamlined enough to setup without a guide.

Streamer Shock - Patch Notes

Major Enhancements

Codebase Refactor & Modularization

  • The code has been fully modularized for improved readability and maintainability.

Asynchronous Queue System

  • Implemented an async request queue to prevent race conditions and improve execution flow.
  • Shock requests are now queued and processed sequentially rather than competing for execution.

Multi-Shocker Support

  • Users can now operate multiple devices with different modes:
    • Round-Robin Mode: Cycles through devices in order.
    • Random Mode: Selects a device at random for each operation.
    • All-at-Once Mode: Sends the same command to all devices simultaneously.

Streamer.Bot Custom Events

  • Introduced custom triggers for seamless integration:
    • "pishockstart" – Triggered at the start of an operation.
    • "pishockend" – Triggered after the operation completes.

UI & Configuration Improvements

  • Added a configuration interface with form-based settings instead of requiring manual file edits.
  • All settings are now stored securely, removing reliance on global variables.

Optimizations & Fixes

  • Re-using a single HTTP Client instance (it used to create a new instance for each request)
  • No more editing code, everythings done via fancy new forms
  • Code no longer relies on global variables to send shock request
  • Improved error handling with clear, actionable messages instead of silent failures.
  • Implemented detailed logging for API requests and responses, to make it easier for me to troubleshoot your issues.
